new-start

New week, new start

New week, new start

Tomorrow is a new week. And I’m ready for a new start.

I’m still a bit wobbly at times but on the whole, I’m doing ok. My body has recovered..and my mind will get there (see post from last week if you have no idea what I’m talking about!!).

I’ve been blown away by the amount of support and love from everyone – it really has lifted me up, so thank-you.

It’s time for me to get back into the swing of things and have something positive to focus on.

MY PLAN FOR A NEW START:

To stay accountable over the next few weeks I’m going aim to do an exercise challenge every weekday

I’ll try to post these on my Facebook page every morning so it sets you up for the day. (And yes, they’ll feature James…I know that’s why a lot of people watch them!!) If you haven’t already ‘liked’ and ‘followed’ my page, click here to do it now.

I’m not going to pile the pressure on myself though and if I have a day where I don’t feel like videoing, I won’t.

I’m going to get ready for a new 2 week Back to Basics Bootcamp

It will start on Monday 21st September and if you sign up by Wednesday 16th, you’ll get it for early bird price of £20. Bargain. Click here to grab a place now!

It’s 2 weeks of small, manageable changes and this time there is going to be a real focus on positivity and happiness (because that’s what I need at the moment!).

Alongside little daily exercise challenges, and food advice, we’ll be looking at creating a routine that helps us feel as good as possible, as much as possible.

2020 has been tough but there is still time to turn it round and finish on a high. If I can do it, so can you.

This is the third round of ‘back to basics’ this year and I have loved doing them. Each one is slightly different (because we’ve all needed different things at different times this year) but they are such a positive way to take action and do something for yourself. (if any of my previous ‘back to basics’ ladies see this post, please comment below with how you found it so it’s not just me!!)

I’ll post tomorrow with all the info but if you want to get ahead of the game, pop over to my ‘back to basics’ blog post to have a read and if you want, get signed up! Places are limited because I like to give everyone plenty of attention and support.

I’ve been making a real effort to count my blessings this week and be grateful for everything I’ve got – it’s really helped so I’m going to carry on this week

Each day, I’ve snapped pics of things that have made me happy…however small. I’ve found that by focusing on the little moments, I’ve been able to keep the bigger, negative thoughts at bay. Each day I’ve felt more positive and noticed more and more things that make me happy. The little moments all add up.

Here’s a collage of some of the things that made me smile this week – what would you include on yours?

(And yes, that is a picture of folded towels…I’ve been doing a lot of decluttering and sorting because I find it therapeutic!!!)

Have a lovely Sunday everyone and I’ll be back tomorrow.
