Hello, time to get your interval training done and dusted. Today is exactly the same as last week – so you know you can do it! Just try to really go for it in the fast intervals. See how far you can get!

If you don’t want to use the podcast, make a note of the timings below:
Warm up for 2 minutes 30 seconds
Start with a brisk pace to warm you up.
Intervals:
Interval 1: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 2: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 3: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 4: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 5: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 6: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 7: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 8: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 9: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 10: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 11: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 12: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Interval 13: 1 minute of a slow pace, 30 seconds of a fast pace
Cool down for 2 minutes 30 seconds
Slow your pace right down for the cool down. Finish with a bit of a stretch (click here for the stretching guide).
Super job, another session ticked off. It should still be hard. If it starts to feel easy then you need to push it a bit more and go faster. We want each session to be a challenge. After all, ‘if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you’!
