So today we are going to repeat the plank challenge from the 4th December! Hopefully you can still remember how many rounds you managed. Can you do one or two more? Try your best!

A lot of the plank is mind over matter – your brain will want to give in before your body does. When you feel like you can’t do any more, count to 5 very slowly in your head then rest.

So a reminder of what you need to do:

Hold the plank for 20 seconds

Rest for 10 seconds

Repeat as many times as you can until you feel like your core is too tired to hold you in position properly! If you are already exercising regularly, aim for 8 rounds. If you are a bit of a beginner, go for 6 and if you are a complete newbie, aim for 4!
