dream big

Dream big – Back on it September!

Dream big – Back on it September!

Step 2: Dream big! What do you want to achieve?

Hopefully you had a go at step 1 and took your measurements, etc so you know your starting point. If you didn’t, do it now!

That was the hard part and the part that can make you feel a bit rubbish…step 2 is much more fun!

I want you to take a few minutes out of your day to have a little day dream.

…imagine this time next year. What would your ideal life look like? What would you look and feel like? Don’t be afraid to dream big (after all, that’s what day dreams are all about!)

Now there might be lots of things you want to change but I strongly suggest you start with your health.

Why? ???

It underpins the rest of your life. A bit like the building blocks. Unless you have your health, everything else is meaningless.

And I’m not just talking about losing a few pounds. This is much bigger than just weight. Look at everything related to your health. Energy levels, immune system, stress levels, sleep, happiness and positivity. It’s all linked and the effect it has on your life in EVERY area should never be underestimated.

I’m not exaggerating when I say sorting out your health and fitness is life changing.

Imagine waking up in the morning feeling refreshed and full of energy…no aches and pains or wanting to stay in bed. There’s nothing worse than feeling lethargic and knackered before you’ve even stepped foot out the door.

When you start the day feeling positive, everything is easier. Relationships, work, children. And when you get to the end of the day, instead of slumping on the sofa with a glass of wine (although nothing wrong with that occasionally), you have the energy to spend your evenings doing things that make you happy.

And before you start thinking that it isn’t possible at the moment because…the kids are too young, work is too stressful, family life gets in the way, there are too many other things to deal with…

Stop.

There will ALWAYS be barriers.

It will always feel like it isn’t quite the right time. There is never a ‘right’ time. The only time there is, is now. Life has the habit of whizzing by at a ridiculous pace. If you put off prioritising your health and fitness now, you will always put it off and believe me when I say it only gets harder as you get older. Use it or lose it.

Unfortunately far too many of us don’t value our health enough and it’s only when our bodies begin to fail us that we realise what we had.

The good news is that its never too late to start. Take control now and you’ll never look back. Yes, it does involve hard work and effort…especially in the beginning but in the long run when being heathy has become habit, everything is easier.

We’ll look at how to put things into action later but for now, just sit back, relax and imagine how you want to live your life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
